Official: Ukraine can cut transit tariff for Gazprom 20% after ‘19
KIEV, Jul 16 (PRIME) -- Ukraine will reduce the gas transit tariff for Russia’s Gazprom by 20% if the pipeline is fully loaded and the transit contract is prolonged after 2019, CFO of energy company Naftogaz Ukrainy Yury Vitrenko said in a Facebook post on Monday.
He said that the condition will be met if Russia’s Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline is not built and if private Russian companies and Middle Eastern producers are allowed to ship gas by the Ukrainian pipeline system.
